Welcome to Productive Transmissions

The owner of the company D.V. Mc Gowan did his apprenticeship in 1966 at the TPA Road Works. After qualifying he then worked for Victor Kent and thereafter Blackwood Hodge.  He left Blackwood Hodge to open his own company. He registered that same company Productive Transmissions in 1991. His son Russel Mc Gowan joined the company in 1998.  Productive Transmission specialise in transmission work. The company does various makes of transmissions Allison, Cat, Clark, Komatsu etc. Allison transmissions make up the bulk of our work.

Client base on request.  We have also done work outside the country e.g.: Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.  The company is a family business with strong values and has grown going from strength to strength.  We pride ourselves in our high quality of work and do give warranty on our work carried out.  Work is done in accordance to our customers requirements. For instance a complete zero hour rebuild for larger companies or repair work for smaller companies.
